Join us every Tuesday from Sept. 8 to October 27, 10am to 120pm at Cherry Beach Sports Fields in Toronto Portlands to learn about how walking soccer can transform your life.

Meet our community of coaches and volunteers and be ready to join soccer drills and play some games! Families and carers are welcome. We look forward to meeting you!

FREE EVENT – Toronto Parkinson's United Walking Soccer Festival

You are invited to Canada's first Parkinson's Walking Soccer Festival. This FREE event is open to people living with Parkinson's, family, carers, healthcare professionals and anyone looking to discover how walking soccer can transform the lives of people living with Parkinson's.

On September 17 2026, Parkinson's United will proudly welcome the England Parkinson's Walking Soccer Men's and Women's National Teams to Toronto Walking Soccer Club.

Details: Thursday September 17, 2026, 10am-2pm. Cherry Beach Sports Fields, 275 Unwin Ave, Toronto, ON M5A 3K8

Their visit marks the official launch of Parkinson's United™ and celebrates the growing international friendship between Canada and England walking soccer communities.

The festival will feature:

  • Coaching, training and fun soccer games
  • Participation in friendly mixed Canadian and England teams
  • Walking Soccer exhibition matches
  • Community celebrations
  • Opportunities to meet players living with Parkinson's from both countries
  • Awareness and media events
  • Opportunities for healthcare professionals, clubs and community organisations to learn more about Parkinson's Walking Soccer
  • FREE picnic lunch
